DAY 1 (Perth – Augusta)
Discover the South Western Australia in air-conditioned comfort. Departing Perth at 7:00am, our first stop is to visit Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden pier in the Southern Hemisphere. Following a semi-guided tour of Ngilgi Cave we stop at Canal Rocks near Yallingup to experience the power of the Indian Ocean.
Afterwards, we visit a working farm to feed the sheep and experience a sheep shearing display. Travelling past picturesque vineyards, sampling wines at a local winery & a visit to a local pottery craft centre. Spend time to explore the Margaret River town-site before heading to the world renown Surfers Point Lookout at Prevelly Beach. Our last drive for the day is through the beautiful Boranup Forest to our overnight stay in Augusta. Hotel/Motel (private facilities) (D)
DAY 2 (Augusta – Karri Valley)
Following breakfast, we start the day with a visit Cape Leeuwin – the most south westerly point of Australia. The tallest Lighthouse on mainland Australia overlooks where the Indian & Southern Oceans meet. See the old Water-Wheel, which once supplied water to the Lighthouse Keepers. In season (June to August) spot migrating Humpback Whales along the coastline.
Returning to Augusta where you can purchase morning tea, we travel to the timber town of Pemberton surrounded by Karri forests. Enjoy a light 1 hour bush walk to Beedelup Waterfalls and see spectacular wildflowers in season (September to November). Try fishing on Beedelup Lake, swimming, canoeing, or just enjoy the natural surrounds and wildlife including kangaroos, emus and various birdlife. Overnight Karri Valley – 2 & 3 bedroom Forest Chalets or upgrade to 1 bedroom chalet. (B,D)
DAY 3 (Karri Valley – Albany)
Following breakfast, our first stop is the Bicentennial Tree which was once a Fire Lookout. Adventurous travellers can climb to the top for incredible views over the surrounding Karri forest. Departing Pemberton, we make our way to Walpole and the Valley of the Giants. Here you will visit the Ancient Empire, Giant Tingle Tree & the Tree Top Walk – a boardwalk 40 metres above the forest floor.
Moving further into the Great Southern, we stop at Williams Bay National Park where you can enjoy a swim in Greens Pool during the warmer months or walk to Elephant Rocks. Arriving in Albany, we visit Mt Clarence for magnificent views over King George Sound and the City of Albany. On our way to our accommodation we can view Dog Rock and other local sights and attractions. Overnight Albany – Motel (private facilities) (B,D)
Day 4 – Friday (Albany – Esperance)
After breakfast, Visit Mt Clarence for great views surrounding Albany, and perhaps whales in season. See Dog Rock and other local attractions. Visit Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory, then sample wines at a local winery. Travel through the Stirling Ranges and drive to the base of Bluff Knoll for some great views. View seasonal wildflowers. (Aug – Oct).
Esperance – Hotel/Motel (private facilities) continental breakfast and dinner
Day 5 – Saturday (Esperance)
Start your day with a coastal drive taking you past spectacular beaches and Twilight Cove before travelling to Cape Le Grand National Park home of the Frenchman’s Peak. Relax with a swim at picturesque Lucky
Bay and perhaps see dolphins frolicking in the clear waters and kangaroos on the beach. Return to Esperance for Dinner.

Day 6 – Sunday (Esperance – Wave Rock – Perth)
Today we journey to Wave Rock and explore this amazing formation, as well as Hippo’s Yawn. After lunch we travel through some farming country and stop at a dog cemetery on your journey home to Perth, arriving
approx. 6pm. See seasonal wildflowers (Aug – Oct).
