We begin our 4 day Albany, Esperance & Wave Rock tour at 7am. Visit the Diamond Tree near Pemberton, previously used as a Fire Lookout until 1979. Heading further into the Great Southern Forests, we arrive at the Valley of the Giants and experience the Tree Top Walk. This spectacular boardwalk sits 40 metres above the forest floor. Enjoy magnificent views of the Karri Forest, then stroll through the Ancient Empire.
We continue to Williams Bay National Park for a swim in Greens Pool during the warmer months. Experience the rugged coastline of the Southern Ocean including Elephant Rocks, the Natural Bridge & the Blowholes. (some of these attractions may be closed if the weather is severe)
Arriving in Albany, we visit Mt Clarence for magnificent views over King George Sound and the City of Albany. On our way to our accommodation we can view Dog Rock and other local sights and attractions. Overnight Albany – Motel (private facilities) (D)
After a hearty breakfast we depart Albany for Esperance. On the way, we visit Mt Romance Sandalwood Shop and continue to the Stirling Ranges Natinoal Park. Following lunch (own expense) we drive east to arrive at our overnight stop in Esperance. In season, we will also stop to view wildflowers (August to October) Overnight Esperance Hotel/Motel (private facilities) (B/D)
Start your day with a coastal drive taking you past spectacular beaches and Twilight Cove. Travelling to Cape Le Grand National Park, the home of the Frenchman’s Peak. Spend time swimming at picturesque Lucky Bay and perhaps see dolphins frolicking in the Southern Ocean and kangaroos lazing on the beach. Overnight Esperance – Hotel/Motel (private facilities) (B/D)
Today we journey to Wave Rock and explore this amazing formation. Other rock formations include Hippo’s Yawn, the Gnamma Holes and Mulka’s Cave. On our way back to Perth, stop to see iconic WA country features such as the Corrigin Dog Cemetery and remnants of the Rabbit Proof Fence and seasonal wildflowers (August to October) (B)
