I joined the “Rock 2 Water tour” from Alice Springs to Adelaide. One of the best tours, if not the best one, I’ve ever done in Australia. Amazing and beautiful places in the Northern Territory and South Australia , nice walks/hikes (not too exhausting) and great camping under the stars in Swags.
Our tour guide, Lee, did a VERY good job. Extremely knowledgable and giving lots of interesting information about the places we visited. Full of enthusiasm on top! 😉
The only downside is the long driving, which is, due to the incredibly long distances, inevitable.
In my opinion, going to the Outback is a must-do; and with Groovy grapes a great way to do it 🙂
I did the Alice Springs to Adelaide Rock 2 Water tour last week and it was amazing! Tom was our tour guide and he was amazing! He is an amazing cook and we were extremely spoiled with dinners. Always a vegetarian option which was a delicious alternative (even though I’m not vegetarian I still had it sometimes!) and he cooked a pork schnitzel dinner, roast lamb dinner, steak with prawns – frickin’ amazing. The tour was active and I loved all of the hiking and camping! The swags don’t cover your face so they were amazing too – we got to sleep under the stars every time we slept outside. Uluru, Kings Canyon, Devil’s peak – it was all incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoor lifestyle. Thanks Tom – you were amazing! All food is included and so are accommodations so that was great! Kayla (vancouver Canada0
