9 Day Perth to Broome Cruiser: One-Way
Day 1 – Perth to Northbrook
Our first stop today will be the impressive Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. You will enjoy a fully guided tour through these amazing limestone formations and drop in at the Discovery Centre before we have lunch by the sea. After a quick stop in the town of Geraldton, it’s on to Northbrook Farmstay to check in to our accommodation for the night. (L, D)
Day 2 – Northbrook to Shark Bay
Today we will visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Natures Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Here you will have the option to try abseiling into the gorge (extra cost)! If conditions allow us, we will cool off with a swim in the Murchison River before we’re back on the bus travelling north to Shell Beach and the town of Denham for our accommodation. (B, L, D)
Day 3 – Shark Bay to Coral Bay
This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Then join any of the optional activities or just chill out on the beach or at the resort. We visit the breathing rock formations
‘Stromatolites’ before we settle in to our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef! (B, L, D)
Day 4 – Coral Bay
Today is yours to enjoy the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an West Coast Cruiser passenger! Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays, go for a scuba dive or snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only meters from shore (all activities at own expense). This evening we take the short drive up the peninsular to Exmouth and check in to our accommodation. (B, D)
Day 5 – Exmouth
Today we spend exploring Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50 kilometres of pristine beaches. Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire $10), visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyearing Visitors Center and more before we return to our accommodation late afternoon. Day 6 – Exmouth to Karijini National Park
Sleep in or enjoy your morning in Exmouth before you depart Exmouth from the Exmouth Visitor Centre with Integrity Coach Lines at 1:00 pm to start your trip to Karijini National Park. When you arrive at the Tom Price Tourist Park later that day you will meet your highly experienced guide from The Flying Sandgroper and get directed to the camp site for another good night of sleep.
Days 7 – Karijini National Park
In the morning you will Meet & Greet at the Camp Kitchen. Your guide will make you a continental breakfast and throws the Karijini map out to detail the plans for the Karijini experience. Your park entry is inclusive & we will enter the west side of the park. We get down to business straight away and head down Hancock gorge destined for stunning Kermits Pool to feel the old country and a great swim. Passing through the Spider Walk. We also check out Oxers, Junction Pool & Joffre lookouts. After lunch we will travel to Knox Gorge where we explore this often overlooked gorge, a real gem. More swimming and some quiet time to reflect are possible for sure! After your amazing day you will return to camp and your guide prepares a well cooked meal & the kettle goes on for a cuppa tea & socialising. Get ready for a comfortable sleep in stretcher beds in our dedicated camp (B, L, D)
Day 8 – Karijini National Park to Broome
In the morning you will get a breakfast served by your guide before we depart for Dales Gorge. We start the day with a quiet swim in the lovely Fern Pool & check out Fortesque Falls. Afterwards we hike 1.5 km through Dales Gorge to Circular Pool for another well earned swim and lunch. After lunch we will visit Karijini Visitors Centre. Here you will have the opportunity to learn more about Karijni’s past, present & future, engage with traditional owners & browse the gift shop. We will say goodbye after dropping you off to depart for Broome with Integrity Coach Lines (B,L).
Day 9 – Broome
After a drive through Australia’s Outback you will arrive in the morning of day 9 in Broome around 8:00 AM. You get dropped off at the Broome Visitor Centre and get to enjoy Broome. You can either go for a swim at the stunning Cable Beach, explore China Town and its pearling history, watch a movie at the world’s oldest open-air cinema or ride a camel on the beach at sunset or lay back and relax in the almost always beautiful weather in Broome!
