Discover why Western Australia is a nature lovers’ paradise and experience the many wonders of the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef & Shark Bay.  As you journey through the pristine West Coast, you will discover a totally different side to Australia, a region many are yet to experience!

Day 1 – Perth to Kalbarri National Park

Begin your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert before enjoying lunch by the sea before continuing your journey up the Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views.  Following a quick stop in Geraldton, and if time permits a visit to the Pink Lake at Port Gregory, (seasonal & not guaranteed) we continue to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.  L / D

Walking distance approximately 1.5km.

Day 2 – Kalbarri National Park to Monkey Mia, Shark Bay

Visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park where water has carved its way through sandstone. Here you have the option to try abseiling ($30 for 2 descents).  Witness bright pops of colour here during wildflower season (September to October).  Enjoy a great photo opportunity at Nature’s Window before strolling along Shell Beach in the Shark Bay region…a UNESCO World Heritage Listed area.   We finish the day with a short drive to Monkey Mia for our overnight accommodation by the beach.  B / L / D

Walking distance approximately 3km.

Day 3 – Monkey Mia, Shark Bay to Coral Bay

This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Enjoy time to relax on the beach or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before we get back on the road mid-morning.  Leaving the Shark Bay region, we visit the fascinating rock formations of the Stromatolites, before settling into our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef.  B / L / D

Walking distance approximately 1km.

Day 4 – Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef

Today, you’ll have the day to explore the Ningaloo Reef at your own leisure.  Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches Coral Bay has to offer.  Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost) or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore.  This evening we take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into our accommodation for two nights in the centre of town.  B / D

Day 5 – Exmouth and Cape Range National Park

Today choose to do another boat tour and swim with Whale Sharks (from mid-March to end of July) or explore Cape Range National Park; a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50 kilometres of pristine beaches.  Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire available), visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyering Visitors Center and more before we return to our accommodation late afternoon. B / L / D

Walking distance approximately 1km.

Day 6 / Day 7 – Exmouth to Northampton to Perth

On our homeward journey, visit the town of Carnarvon and one of the local banana or mango plantations (seasonal) and stay overnight at our accommodation on an Australian wheat farm. Enjoy a visit to a Wildlife Rescue Park, where you can get up close to kangaroos, birdlife and even a snake!  Take in the last views of the scenic countryside before making our way back towards Perth. We’ll stop along the way to test your skills at Sandboarding on the massive dunes of Lancelin.  Then kick back and relax on the bus for the last push to Perth, with drop offs  to your accommodation starting around 6.30pm.  Day 6 – B / L / D & Day 7 – B / L
