Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast

The main theme of Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast is 'fun in the sun', and when the sun goes down there are plenty of clubs and pubs to suit the tastes of any party goer! The Gold Coast is the home of world class theme parks, to entertain the young and 'young at heart' for days. If that sounds too active, a 35 kilometre stretch of of golden sand and brilliant blue ocean beckons. Try your hand at surfing, beach volleyball, or simply soak up the sun on one of Australia's most famous beaches. But the beach is not the only place to be on the Gold Coast, make sure you visit the stunning Hinterlands, an hour inland. There are some awesome national parks, boasting spectacular waterfalls and excellent bush walking opportunities.
