Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is arguably the most beautiful coastal drive in Australia, certainly the most famous! Featuring stunning blue-green bays and golden sandy beaches, rolling foothills, rainforest, wildlife, rugged cliffs, and the spectacular 12 Apostles. The 12 Apostles were formed when huge sections of limestone cliffs broke from the mainland into the sea below. A simply amazing sight, especially at sunrise and sunset when the stacks are silhouetted against the light! Other highlights of the Great Ocean Road include Bells Beach, a surf spot famous for pumping waves, and nearby Torquay, home of the iconic Ripcurl surf label.
