Cape Tribulation

'Cape Trib' is something all visitors to Cairns must see. The Daintree rainforest here dates back 135 million years and is home to a huge variety of flora and fauna species, including the scary saltwater crocodile! Visit stunning jungle that drops onto pristine beaches, with the Great Barrier Reef on the horizon. This is also a great part of Oz to experience some true Aboriginal culture, particularly further north at Cooktown. If you're into the highlife, live it up in the chic resort town of Port Douglas and don't forget to dip your toes in the freezing Mossman gorge!
