Barossa Valley
The Barossa Valley has been producing wine for some 165 years now and crushes approximately 65,000 tonnes of grapes a year. The earliest vines were introduced by immigrants to the area and as a result 'the Barossa' is the oldest wine producing region in Australia. There are still many of the original small houses made of local stone to be seen as you travel through the region. This beautiful region is best visited on a tour or with a nominated driver so you can sample some of the tasty wines and local produce. We have a selection of tours to your right and you can download the PDF information sheet to help you.
