Adelaide is the capital city of the state of South Australia. It is the fifth largest city in Australia and home to a bustling culture of great food, wine, sport, arts and festivals. The city centre is surrounded by luscious parklands, sophisticated architecture, cafes and museums. From Adelaide it’s only a short drive to world famous wineries in the Barossa and Clare Valley and the quaint villages of the Adelaide hills. Adelaide is a popular point to start a trip north to the Northern Territory, or east to The Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Or, for a real adventure, head west along the immense Nullarbor Plain to Perth!
